Chromatic

CHROMATIC is a collaborative project exploring the representation of women’s bodies and gender identity, inspired by the widespread popularity of coloring books and juxtaposing a confident nude woman with traditional Art Nouveau imagery. After creating black-and-white prints, I invited women from diverse backgrounds, cultures, education levels, and nationalities across the U.S. and around the world to complete them as they wished. With more than 300 responses, CHROMATIC celebrates the individuality, perspectives, and diverse worlds that shape each woman’s identity.
